Mike,

Hey I did buy into a biotech stock today got AVXT @9 before it moved up to 9.75. At least so far I am doing well but we shall see how it finishes. As for reading the charts, I'm not sure you would want my opinion. I do check out some of your stocks but since I, like Tony, do not really understand most of what these companies are up to I usually don't feel that I have anything worth adding.

Good Luck Steve

Mike,

I agree with Steve, I try to follow some biotech's because the rewards can be so great...but the clinical discussion can quickly overwhelm me. One good thing about these threads is that they tend to be brutally honest and any yahoo is rapidly disposed of. I guess we laymen are fearful of having our ignorance exposed so we become the silent buyers.
I'm not much of a TA expert either...but I do have some pretty powerful good luck charms I can lend you >>> :)

G.

IART...pick from Red Chip small caps senior editor on "Cavuto Business" tuesday as potential next myrd(went from 10-70).After doing a bit of research...picked some up.

<<<Jay also cites Integra LifeSciences (Nasdaq: IART - news), which is ''rapidly becoming a force in manufacturing and distributing
products to the neurosurgeons. Integra has some biologic products including an artificial skin. But they also have a material for
repairing tears in the dura mater, the layer of tissue that surrounds the brain.''

Integra manufactures these tools and distributes them. ''And in many ways,'' Jay continues, ''Integra is beginning to look like
Xomed, which was a company that was the category-killer in the ear, nose and throat area, and Integra is in many ways beginning
to look like the Xomed of neurosurgery.''>>>

Well Gliatech is just no behaving very
nicely for daytrading, so I withdraw that
suggestion and I'll throw it on my pile
of investments--a large chunk of shares
changed hands in the last hour or so, not
sure what sort of a signal that gives us.

A lot of the real frothy biotechs have given
back a buck or two these past couple days,
for something like my little Magainin that
is a pretty large percentage loss. Happily,
I skimmed some froth off many of my biotech
holdings on Tuesday, so I've a little cash
to play with on a down day:

Trade, bought 4000 TGEN at $7,
happy trades! Market really is soft today,
hope this one goes okay for me.
