Just took this from MOT announcement that Tucker is Ruiz replacement.

Growney thanked Ruiz for his many contributions. ``Hector has made many positive contributions to our semiconductor and communication businesses during his career at Motorola. We are thankful for all he has done and wish him well in his new position.

``Motorola and AMD are not competitors,' Growney noted. ``In fact, we have engaged in a number of very successful strategic technology partnerships with them in recent years and look forward to seeing our relationship continue to grow.'

hmaly - Re: "AMD ended their 3 quarter streak and recorded the biggest profit in AMD'S history"

That $65 Million was AMD's biggest profit in their HISTORY ?

Note - no TAXES paid on that !

Did you know that Intel made $65 Million profit AFTER TAXES - every 3 days last quarter ?

That is $65 Million profit AFTER TAXES - every 3 days !!
