The operating earnings declined 88% and almost all the earnings are from interest income. I made 4.8% as interest last year in my cash accounts. The account will be yours if you pay 6 times its Dec 31 value (I am a reasonable guy, I don;t ask for 6000 times which you are willing to pay for eBay.) -g-

Ebay just reported offline auction revenue was $13MM. I also thought the 41MM auctions and 4.1 auctions per user was low and a serious concern versus the 6.5 auctions per user in 4Q98. How low will auctions per user go in 2000?

First quarter should be alot better. I think the stock price will be much higher by next earnings. JB
