Thanks, Ray. I would have liked being a fly on the wall in the copy editor's office after that one. Wow. So, where does that leave HWP, ORCL and the other shops who were mentioned in the article? Despite this unusual turn of events (the denial), the model that was discussed in the article was a familiar one to many who've been posting about last mile futures, both in this thread and elsewhere. I wouldn't regard this denial [as peculiar as it is] by the utility as anything more than a hick-up, or a case of someone's knows getting seriously dislocated. There's bound to be more to this story.
