I thought I'd wander over here as part of a little DD on EDIG cause it looks like it may give me another chance to enter. What do I find but some nice people (you) and old friends from Dale's board. I was also intrigued by this fellow Pluvia. I always look into the input by shorts--to learn, and, rarely, if appropriate, to respond to them. Pluvia indicts himself with his own evidence. He seems to have serious synapses disconnects too--He could be the poster child for the saying, "People in glass houses..." Exhibit #1--He makes snotty comments re. Dale's great board, where a lot of serious $$$'s have been made, yet Pluvia has a board that he started last Oct. with less than 600 posts total including 0 today. Way to go Pluvia! I've been in anechoic chambers with more noise. I wonder if they have a bottom 10 list in visits to SI boards. He oughta be a contenda. Obviously he's puckered on a huge bunch of sour grapes. He's also as subtle as a train wreck re. his short tactics, but not nearly as clever or smart as other short on SI. Exhibit #2--Check out SI's XYBR board. Pluvia's last "target." For all of Pluvia's huffing and puffing--a dozen posts in a little over a day--XYBR is about where he called his short. At the best, if he guessed right at the bottom he might have scalped a couple of points. Way to go Pluvia! Seems like an awful lot of energy to expend for so little gain--esp. since that energy and posts had nothing to do with what drop did occur. BTW, I've never thought much of XYBR either. That's the sad part. Fluvia is a classic example of someone who might have something worthwhile to say, but discredits himself and his message in his tactics. He also reveals quite a bit about a distasteful personality in the process. So now he's here. Lucky you. EDIG might indeed have run too far too fast and needs to do some gap filling. But jeez, it's easy enough to just point out the chart and let others possibly come to their own conclusions. OTOH, shorts better be awfully nimble, because the announcements have some meat to them and there's tremendous potential in what EDIG is offering. And there's a lotta cash still sitting on the sidelines--including mine--by those who don't play pennies but are ready when a co. has gone "legit". Pluvia obviously is not adding information, but has a severe case of megalomania, thinking he can start a wave of selling. The funny thing is that if EDIG really sells off, and I won't deny that it could--in fact it would let me in cheaper--PLUVIA will have had nothing to do with it. OTOH, he sure has branded himself as an arrogant hypocrite. Cheers. Now back to Dale's "quiet"--and civil--board. Jim
