mike i'm going with a bit of bmo (bank of montreal)
up here there are five major banks...bmo and royal bank were planning to merge (td and cibc too) . the government nixed it. i'm sure these banks will revisit this issue and try to pressure the govt. again. also you get over a 4 % yield. bmo is down $ 20 canadian from six months ago...bmo also has american exposure through harris bank. they have a discount brokerage up here too, although its not as popular as td's waterhouse.
