I'm not sure I'd do that. Today's afterhours trading was overdone, probably. I wouldn't be surprised to see it up tomorrow, after all.

I do not own QCOM, btw.

I agree with LoF. Even if QCOM dips a little bit more tomorrow, It will probably come back to at least the 150 level short term and could still hit 170 or more by Feb Options expiration. (IMHO)

I own a ton of QCOM and will not be selling a single share or option for at least a while yet. Unless you are holding Feb 200's or higher, I think you will be fine.

It's really hard to advise, but...there may be an initial selloff and then a slight pop. I'm selling my April calls which are still profitable but getting less so! :-) but unless QCOM holds steady at 9:30, I'm not going to sell at that moment. The first half hour can often be a head-fake, whether up or down, it's not always a true indicator of sentiment. I'll just watch closely and I suggest you do the same, and if you're going to sell tomorrow, don't panic.

Without having read the responses to your post, I can only suggest letting the market tomorrow determine your actions. I know if I were to let options with a near-term expiration accumulate and put me into a corner, I would feel a bit frantic even in a good market. I would avoid the first half-hour of trading unless some pressing need requires an immediate execution.

Letting a small sample (after hours trading) determine tomorrow's actions could be painful. Q is a very solid player. Good luck.

A. McLean:

My two cents is not to panic sell at the open. I think we'll tank today (QCOM) but will see the 140's again before options expiry. I've got some Feb calls too and will hang on to them.

My fingers are crossed for all QCOM longs.
