As I mentioned in my earlier post.... which I don't think most here viewed.

I think (maybe I'm wrong but I suspect there is some anecdotal evidence to support this) that P&F seeks to signal the investor that there is some underlying change in price - likely a result of some fundamental change in a company's business. So the underlying goal is to give those that are not intimately tuned into a company some idea as to when there might be a need to buy or sell a position or at a minimum give them a tool to inform them that's it's time to go look. Using P&F intraday I believe will cause an investor to make trade decisions based upon fluctuations caused by market makers or large block trades which could result in faulty buy or sell signals and mulitple trades in a day for one security. Seems like it could be a losing battle - or at a minimum a lot of extra work. At that point it's proabably easier to do a detailed fundamental analysis and buy long term. Your process - although I'm sure valuable - will have the investor wrapped around the axle all day long - every minute of the day. I don't think many people invest that way ------- well.. I don't. I'm sure Jorj would love it though :-)
