If reducing the money supply is upward pressure on interest rates and Fed raises rates too -- isn't that a double dose and apt to put lots of pressure on the any upward move of the stock market? It is certain they are not dealing with any predictable result...only aiming to slow things down but not wanting to take away the goose laying the fine eggs. we can just hope they don't get impatient and accidently over do it.
