Earnings were Great with royalties 50million more than expected, .27 cents without the handset, and did not include the asics they sold to themselves( that they will now sell to Kyocera). Get a grip and buy.
The fed hikes are priced in. If we are down tomorrow buy, and sell puts.

I don't dispute that one should not expect much appreciation in Q stock for at least another quarter. However, for those who held Qcom for more than a year before March 25, 1999 (QE Day) waiting two quarters is nothing. For those who are nimble enough traders, selling, making a bunch of money on another stock, and then buying back Qcom later in the year is surely an option. But, most shareholders can't time the market that well. I'll just hold. And, maybe buy and sell a thousand shares a couple of times for trading gains.

I think you are over-reacting here. Bill-to-book ratio for ASIC is always less then one in December quarters. Check cc December 98 for yourself. Business as usual. No big deal.
