""Now days we know about digital video and more & more realistic graphics being injected into the networked computer experience, and the growing "blob" of software DNA""

To extrapolate on this trend, I think some of the really big files of the future, will come from merging the image/shows of entertainment personalities of the past with programming that has computer intelligence integrated into the characters, to offer a type of virtual robot that entertains you. Example:
Imagine Nickolodeon TVLAND in 2015. Picture a hologram that is the size of your current TV, and I Love Lucy comes on, with Lucy and Ricky. The only difference is they are computer programs that are programmed to interact with you in some way. Maybe know your name by having a video camera on the TV that allows your computer to recognize who is sitting on the couch). More thinking out loud here about what the future may hold.
