The fundamentals have never been better for qcom and the deployment of cdma world-wide.

1XRTT - We heard this topic of discussion over the past couple of quarters but was unable to realize the specific impact. Operators of cdma one are now raising the minimum level of performance they expect in a handset. All future handsets will need to be 1X capable. We all know now this is having a profound impact on NOK,ERCY and MOT. A clear demonstration of qcom's leadership position in ascis when others are about to come out with their first generation chip.

QCOM ASIC Content is going up - As a further demonstration of qcom's leadership in this area we can see the migration of qcom's asics which reduces components within a handset and replaces that function on the qcom asic. The impact: lower over all phone component cost, higher qcom asic value. New uses for qcom asics according to Dr. J. PC Cards--Chips on mother boards ---chips becoming the computer. qcom is at the forefront driving this transition of value to their own asics.

As far as comments about earnings and CC. Very good results and setting up very nicely for Q3 and Q4 as well as beyond. If your time horizon is beyond your nose, holders of qcom are in great shape.

Much more positive to comment later. FWIW.
Thanks
