Octagon has upped its "strong buy" target to $42 The full 22 page report (Jan. 26) is available on ACD's web site. Here are the highlights: - ACD Systems currently boasts an installed base of at least 15M users in over 126 countries. - For the month of December 1999, the company reported 17.8 M hits on its website, a 65% increase from November, and a 309% increase compared to December 1998. - Within the last quarter of 1999, the company has provided over 1.3M downloads of its products from one of its websites. In addition, ACD Systems' products are available from 82 shareware sites worldwide. ACDSee TM was included into Stroud's Hall of Fame as one of the top 25 downloads for each of the last 25 weeks for 1999. For a period of time during January, 2000, ACDSee was the second most downloaded product, across all categories, on Stroud's web site. ACDSee was second only to Internet Explorer 5.5. Stroud's is one of the largest Internet download distributors. - The company boasts over 15,000 corporate customers. - Revenues have exhibited a compound average quarterly growth exceeding 20% from January 1996 to September 1999. - Over 25 software awards, most recently: Editor's Choice from PC Photo "Top 50 Picks"; PC Magazine?s "Hotfiles: Top Downloads"; and Winmag.com's "Top 10 Shareware".
