I'm sure you're all aware of the dramatic price rise in NWRE. It appears to be related to them announcing appearance at LinuxWorld Expo. Neoware has been characterized by NCD insiders as a "hype" company. Well, Linux is certainly the way to go for that. The thing is, a 10-year old X-terminal will work on a Linux box. But interestingly, Neoware is renaming their NeoStations as thin client "appliances". Again with the buzz words. So I went to linuxworldexpo.com just to see if NCD might be listed. No. They weren't. But neither was Neoware. Interesting. A late entry, I suppose. And at the Windows 2000 Expo site, NCD is listed as a Platinum sponsor along with Wyse and Citrix. But no Neoware or Boundless (at least not as sponsors). I kind of get the feeling that Boundless has pulled out of the WBT race.

Also find it interesting that NCD has placed banner ads at ThinPlanet for NCD Services.
