RSA Security Teams With enCommerce to Help Secure e-Business Portals

enCommerce Joins the RSA Secured Strategic Partner Program and Becomes

'RSA Keon(TM) Ready'

BEDFORD, Mass., Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- In its ongoing efforts to bring trust and reliability to the new online economy, RSA Security Inc. (Nasdaq: RSAS) today announced it has teamed with enCommerce, a leading provider of secure e-business relationship management solutions, to help speed and secure the deployment of e-business portals. As part of the ongoing relationship between the two companies, enCommerce has joined the RSA Secured strategic partner program and has received "RSA Keon(TM) Ready" certification for its enCommerce getAccess secure e-business portal management solution. The "RSA Keon Ready" certification signals to the Internet community that the enCommerce getAccess solution is compatible with RSA Security's leading PKI products and technologies.

The enCommerce getAccess Web access management solution is designed to accelerate the deployment of secure e-business portals by providing plug-in authentication, authorization and administration services. These services are intended to dramatically reduce the time and cost of deploying secure content on the Web for customers, suppliers, partners and employees. When used in conjunction with RSA Keon software, the enCommerce getAccess Pluggable Authentication & Authorization Modules (PAAM) are designed to authenticate users presenting RSA Keon certificates.

RSA Keon is a family of interoperable, standards-based PKI products for managing digital certificates and providing an environment for authenticated, private and legally binding electronic communications and transactions. The RSA Keon family -- from a robust certificate authority to developer components and turn-key enterprise solutions -- provides a common foundation for securing Internet and e-business applications.

"We are pleased to be working with enCommerce to ensure interoperability between our products and to further promote comprehensive solutions for conducting secure electronic business," said Scott Schnell, senior vice president of marketing for RSA Security.

"As a leading provider of e-business security solutions, RSA Security shares our understanding of the comprehensive access management requirements for global organizations extending their business transactions and communications to the Web," said Miguel Nhuch, vice president of business development of enCommerce. "We are proud to join RSA Security in helping provide corporations with the integrated secure portal management and digital certificate services they need to safely conduct e-business on an international scale."
