i still think in certain circumstances and right underlying this is not a bad technique to generate income.

actually it makes sense for an 'investor' mode... one way I will buy stocks is in 'partials', for sake of example, if I want to own 1000 shrs, I will buy 300 (or 400) now. another 300 (or 400) on a pullback to a certain level or if it breaksout on the way up. and complete at some other price target. on the right underlying this technique could be the automatic way to buy those pullback shares.

I'll see about following up w/ a good example for this point in time in a bit.

btw Dave, noticed your Q on your 'spreads' thread...
