I heard Dr Jacobs or one of the mgmt say that CDMA subs would increase by 70 million in 2000. If you compared the addition of 8 million subs for Q1 2000 with the projected number of 28 million new subs in Q12001 (40% of 70 million equals 28 million), that would be a YOY increase of 250%. Typically, 40% of wireless customers are added in the December quarter.
