Nice open today. Tidbit: From LSI conference call learned that LSI makes the ADSL chips for ALA. Anyone know who does the silicon for NN in 3dSL arena?

Bob, as I wrote in post #16628 New Egde has numbers of financial partners including: New Edge Networks has raised more than $300 million from top tier private venture firms, global financial institutions and worldwide technology firms that include: Accel Partners, Palo Alto, CA; Crosspoint Venture Partners, Woodside, CA; Greylock, Boston, MA; Meritech Capital Partners, Menlo Park, CA; Comdisco Ventures; Intel Corporation; Newbridge Networks; Goldman, Sachs & Co.; and, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter." According to info on New Egde home page they will go IPO soon and most likely Goldman, Sachs & Co.; and, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.(financial partners) will be inderwriters. So far New Edge has risen 300 million US (press release says NN constract is value over 200 million)nad with IPO they will get even more money. NN not only will benefit b/c of rapid expantion, which has already support of BIG $, but also may benefit financially by being financial partner( a la Juniper). Zbyslaw
