On a different note -

AOL Instant Messaging System Hacked

"From what I have seen, the AOL registration folks got sloppy with their program and didn't do the proper cleanup and condition testing in their program, so that it allowed a hacker to enter in a user's handle and get an invalid password when registering, and then go to another part of the program and allow the user to change the password," Klein said. "They should have made the user authenticate with the old password before allowing them to change the password. This is just a simple case of programmer sloppiness and lack of extensive testing."

ps - Sounds like AOL could use a little of what IDX has.

Earnings Call...

I now have 9 questions. I hope most of them get answered before they get to me.

I heard rumors that somebody with the initials B.G. from the Pacific Northwest has thrown his hat in the ring for the CEO job.

Unfortunately, more digging turned up that it was Brad Greene from Idaho. Sorry.

The only thing I didn't expect was continued bleeding from the Sylvan JV - $73,000 loss vs. $18,000 gain last quarter. Also noticed Marketing & Selling expenses went up $1 mm, while General & Administrative expenses went down $1 mm.
Go figure.
