I think they're all about the same with some minor differences... Jack Carl is big, but I'd suggest calling around... there are plenty of futures brokers advertising on the net and they're all pretty decent.....

You might try interactivebrokers.com if you are primarily interested in the emini SP and NDX. I'm finding the system is reliable. Costs are 4.95 one way per contract.

I know a number of big spoo traders that have moved to interactive and the like. There's something appealing to next to no slippage.
