Could someone give me a correct definition of "to fade". Someone mentioned on another thread "I've faded Merrill's calls for years and made tons of money".

Are you sure about this? I recall them hesitating before one of them qualified it with "that I know of." They seemed more sure of their lead in 1xrtt and the demand for these chips.

I think their statement was something along the lines of we are the only company supplying IS-95B ASIC's to the Japanese market.....I sort of remember the "that I know of". Still....I would be surprised if they didnt know about Denso going with an LSI chipset.

The ASIC division is the key now....and I was glad to hear that they thought they had not only kept every single customer of the MSM3000 but had added new ones for the MSM3100. Just not sure where Denso fits in....
