We live in a whole new ball game but second guessing the day to day reactions is a prescription for going broke.

I don't expect a selloff after earnings. The jittery holders are getting out and have been for the last few days.
With the QCOM big drop, that selling has intensified this morning. I am happy with the decline in JDSU.
It is further evidence of the weak hands taking their profits. However, the mutual funds are going to take the opportunity to buy it while the sale price (thanks to QCOM) are still in effect.

Going into earnings tonite, only those that believe in the long term success of the company will remain. The momentum traders will be out by then. I think they are already out!!!
That is a good thing.

After factoring in all of the above---i think we should close flat to higher by the end of the day.

good luck
