yes. we all know he got the Qcom patent count wrong. of specific interest to me in regard to his comments was that if ERICY were to lose the case against IDC, and ERICY filed an appeal, during the appeal process, Judge Sanders could forbade ERICY from utilizing TDMA based products.

ERICY still derives about 88% of its digital income from TDMA/GSM based products. Obviously, if ERICY were ordered to stop using TDMA, the bottom line would force ERICY to settle.

ERICY has made it known (bragged?) to at least one analyst that even if they lose they could appeal (no kidding).

During the appeal process, however, the judge could so rule against ERICY utilizing TDMA. If this ruling was made (which is many times the case for patent infringement), I don't see what avenue ERICY would have but to settle.

The case is strong in IDC's favor given current rulings made in the case and past rulings formed in Europe prior to the case.
