Bob, Wilf for man of the year, may not be too far off. Semiconductor executive of the year, yes, if there is such a thing.

I caught CNBC's interview with Wilf, by Martha McCallum. He said all the right words: communications, wireless, network computing, CDMA. He didn't have to say anything else (but he did). Apparently, LSI feels that the "six product lines" is too confusing, so they're boiling it down to communications and network products, essentially. Even storage could be put into the network product group, as a stretch, because most of the storage growth is for the Internet right now.

With CDMA, he mentioned that LSI is one of only three companies licensed to build the chips. I believe he said CDMA would be huge for LSI.
