VDOT is a Linux play:

LinuxWorld 2000
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 10, 2000--VirtualSellers.com Inc. (OTC BB:VDOT) Monday announced that it will exhibit at the upcoming LinuxWorld Conference & Expo to be held in New York City, Feb. 1 through 4, at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.

VirtualSellers.com's exhibit at the expo will be located at booth number 873, and will present the latest technical updates pertaining to its recent launch of (Tag Activated Markup Enhancer) TAME version 4.0, a proprietary programming software language used by Web developers to build Web sites and enterprise infrastructure.

LinuxWorld Conference & Expo is the premier event for supporters, investors and enthusiasts of the Linux operating system. Attendance is comprised of information technology and financial managers, individuals devoted to software and systems development, and those interested in the Linux operating system.

"We believe TAME is the solution that complements the economic objectives of choosing the Linux operating system," said Dennis Sinclair, Ph.D., CEO of VirtualSellers.com.

"Furthermore, this international event will help to create brand equity for TAME as it becomes associated with Linux. This is an invaluable opportunity to expose TAME to avid Linux users, as well as money managers and others who have a strong interest in this dependable operating system."

TAME version 4.0 uses an interpretive language that is Unix and Windows NT compatible, thereby simplifying the entire approach to Web development and Web infrastructure development over existing Microsoft solutions, and at the same time maintaining its compatibility through links to Java(R) and JavaScript(R).

It enables applications to communicate with each other in a very unique way within the Web's infrastructure, and more importantly provide a solution to a whole new level of interoperability.

VirtualSellers.com provides enterprise application development solutions. Through recent strategic acquisitions, VirtualSellers.com has created a state-of-the-art service bureau geared to launch merchants safely and quickly into the world of e-commerce.

JMAR
With this news and the introduction of telecommunication chips later in the year, JSI and in effect JMAR will be considered
an internet play. The price of JMAR is cheap compared to other internet infrastructure stocks. This will be reflected later in
the year. The Phillips agreement talked extensively about Broadband and internet and telecommunications. JMAR was
smart to position itself and reinvent itself into an internet play as well as a gene chip play, and later this year an x-ray
semiconductor play.

I am guessing JMAR will make the high-end custom chips for optical routers/switches
that are really high in demand now.
A lot of optical start-ups can use custom silion chips.

Here are some interesting Philips links:
