>>>"...many companies already had prototype players based on the microdrive and they don't need the EDIG OS to do it, they just whip their own out. Hell it's just another IDE drive, you can probably find the code to do it for free on the net."<<<

1) Which companies?
2) What do you mean by "probably?" and how would this compare to EDIG's multi-codec capability?
3) And how does doing it "free on the net" comply with copyright protection?
4) Why is MP3 being sued?
5) Why is the SDMI seeking a standards solution?

C M Burns - your lack of DD is showing the micro driver will not work in in handheld devices as is because of it's hugh power consumption - the Micro OS solves that problem - SDR P.S. don't ask me for cites do your own DD

Frinky RULES!!!

LOL

I guess the Longs were so busy doing the hampsterdance.com they forgot during DD that this OS is not a big deal at all.

It aint DOS, it runs simple instructions for music players.

Heck, I could write that in linux - and give it away on the net. In fact if I have a spare 90 minutes this afternoon I might just do that.

Cheers

Mr. Burns, Your attempted simplification of the ease of use
of IBM's microdrive for secure music overlooks what it requires to allocate a file system using multiple codecs and DRM's to a player. The company that can be a full service design house and access contract manufacturing will get the lion's share of the handheld player business.

This is the position eDig currently has. It apparently is either disbelieved or unrecognized by you. Perhaps you will be reminded in a more forceful way when one of the Gorillas I mentioned on an earlier post elects to take an equity position in eDig.

Your trading instincts may soon have to deal with a major wake-up call. Much to your disliking it will soon be most obvious that the antics by you and others on this board played right into the hands of those who understand this company and how to profit from its future.

Your next shorting opportunity could easily be in the 30's; therefore, I expect to see you here again in early February. Enjoy the moment.
