ok, i looked at erts.

what is a pro? what is an amateur?

do you mean a pro is an employee of a brokerage or a mutual fund firm while an amateur is a private investor?

well, i don't think much of the pros. if they were any good, they'd be private investors like i am. after all, who wants a boss? if the pros were so smart, i'd just put my money in any mutual fund picked at random since all are managed by pros.

what do mean by pounce? mortgage my house and buy february out of the money calls as this is a sure thing? i doubt it. my opinion is that what you suggest is just not worth the risk.

just out of curiosity have you made a play on erts or any similar earnings related plays?
