When running at full blast they should be able to do >6M/qtr out of fab 25 using current die sizes.

They will likely build up to 3M this quarter.

Wether they can sell anything close to that is another story.

This flip-chip story is intriguing as it doesn't make too much sense. Couple that with disti cancellations for feb for PIII's.

Sure smells like Intel has shot itself in the head again.

I don't think the bin-splits out of Austin are not sufficient to do a 1G launch now but in the spirit of what Kash said it would be nice if AMD would consider doing a high stakes promotion and do a technology demo or put out a high ASP novelty part. Or may be they could just go with a CuMine style launch ;-)
