I think disti margins are in the 20 point range.

I don't think Intel is pulling parts from disti's to sell to dell.

I think they are offering to sell direct to modest size suppliers - those that typically buy from disti - under their chip direct program.

Intel has much more stringent financial terms than disti's so they are probably using availability to cut the disti numbers.

I see this as more of a margin play than an availibilty issue or yield issue.
