Why sell QCOM, and not something else? It's already taken quite a drubbing. Isn't this probably a low for this gorilla?

Also, I am to take it that you see options as part of a good GG strategy?

Thanks.

I trust you can see that our reasons have nothing to do with not understand GG. It is very personal and has to do with buying groceries and having more fun.

Down Boy! I know why you and Lindy are selling! You've made it clear for weeks and has nothing to do with not understanding GG!
Don't go paranoid on me...I wasn't referring to you guys at all!
Now go back to the curmudgeon thread and chill! :-)

DS,

It's your money. You shouldn't have to justify how you position it, IMO.

I'm confused by Fido's rules, too. They make no cents. FWIW, you might be able to do it in stages, no? If I were doing this, I'd buy LEAPs today (120 was the 200 day moving average, which we bounced off firmly, so any buy close to it is perfect timing), sell some stock today, a little more tomorrow, etc. Are you able to at least start your LEAPs buys today?
