I'm still in QQQ puts.. but I'm long ERTS and hoping that the rise in the stock (got in early) will offset the stupid loss in the option when ERTS did not deserve to fall today.. I also have VIAD (stock) and COVD options.. but I picked up some plays this morning from the watch list and the biotechs to make up for holding through earnings in the euphoria of yesterday's 71 point gains.. :"rotation into the banking sector" is such a misleading statement from CNBC..

You can keep the banking sector and give me the chips and biotechs any day.. about 1/2 the watch list stocks triggered today and I didn't include any banks.. I 'rescued' my husband's portfolio from the 'banking sector" and he made from 129% to 400% on the new technology, biotechs during the last year and the banks had reached new 52 lows. If you remember every earnings season that comes to an end brings with it some temporary 'lull' in the technology sector. It happened in August after the July earnings season, it happened in October and early November after the October earnings season.. and it will happen in early February but they have always come back and this has been the case since 1995.

I had JPM on the list a few weeks ago and that went nowhere even with the 'great earnings'.. today its up but I don't think this will last. As soon as there are bargains in nasdaq it will do exactly like it did yesterday, if not this afternoon than tomorrow..
