Hey Burt, how come this supposed know-it-all type, Pluvia-introduced techno bagman doesn't answer reasonable questions? Indeed, Chris Burns skipped right over my post. Guys any power saving you might get by some patent pending method of ordering how things get written to the hard drive are negligible. The microdive itself was/is inefficient, you can't polish a turd. That being said, rechargable batteries have probably gained enough in efficiency and price drop in the past year to make it a moot point. Power saver ability is simply another unsubstantiated claim of the company until they show otherwise. Do you have any number for power savings of a micro os run drive over a competing companies file system? CMB
