I am willing to bet there is a skunkworks team at Intel charged with getting to 1Ghz AND soon. My point is that if they can deliver 1Ghz in modest volumes, that they do so and FAST. Kash, I agree with your concerns....the only thing I would change slightly is the second statement to: "that AMD be prepared to deliver 1Ghz". I am well aware of Intel's ability to pull 'a rabbit out of their hat' and therefore think that AMD's vigilance can not drop for one instant. I just do not AMD's fears/concerns re Intel to lead to a business model that minimizes profits. That's all. ted
