ZO, I reestablished 3/4 of my old, pretty large position, in NN.I invested too much time in NN to let it go. Reasons: Technical: -1st is that I think it is breaking out from it's old overhead resistance of 27 very strongly. That is always good. -2nd is volume. 4.5 mill shares is big for NN. -Accummulation/distribution going through the roof. -Point and Figure shows a breakout after touching support at 23 several times. -Good money flows. -breakout occurred in a weak general market. -we had several " dragonfly doji candlesticks today " indicating bearish reversal. 207.95.154.130 Fundamental to Business -the explosion of wireless in Europe will be mind bogging. -new management means business. I have only seen good things from Flynn since he came on board. -In spite of the growth of optical, the bulk of Telcos is still cable, dsl and wireless.Big market. -the fall of LU is all to NN's advantage. I think the fall had to do with the performance of their 2nd rate ATM MCI fiasco, and time will show that. People are now saying that " the Emperor " ( LU ) has no clothes. -when the director of LU Labs ( Nobel prize; Mr Peznia? or something like that ) says that the Internet WILL be run on IP + ATM you know he means business. LU would not have spent 20 bill to buy ASND if it was not neccessary. Buy out -The talk of buy out is persistent recurrent and very real because of the superior ATM technology of NN. -this is a must own technology. Miscellaneous :-) -Pat Mudge has reestablished a " small position ". That was as hard as pulling teeth but I think worth it and I think Pat will do well in that. :-) I think this baby will start amoking and exhaling fire pretty soon, TA
