the productivity argument is a joke when one knows the facts. So you don't think the Internet and personal computers, to pick the two biggies, improve productivity in companies? CAD vs. drafting by hand Teleconferencing vs. getting on airplanes Voicemail vs. secretaries Word vs. secretaries Email vs. postal system Excel vs. mechanical calculators Ethernet vs. Sneakernet just scratched the surface. Galileo would have had one more negative vote from you, I'd guess. The numbers say inflation is low. Tech = productivity.
