Good point. Last Q when they missed they sold puts aggressively to option specialists. The specialists have no option but to go long on the stock which stabilize the price. They could do it again. TLC calls it smart biz but I am not sure about it. If it fails this time, you can bid the DELL cash-balance a good bye as they have to buy the stock. A sure way to hell for dell. Oh well!

They sold put warrants. I think they can pay off reversals with stock. I'm not real clear on this, though, since the market could care less about it. Ask Burke, he looked into it a year ago as I recall.
