rudedog: I mentioned Europe because there have been statements to the effect during the last quarter that COMPAQ will gradually convert to direct there, and I wondered how they would do that. Direct sales to businesses in Europe would, in my view, work better than direct to consumers. Shops and boutiques are still important here. But European consumers seem to be taking to e-commerce increasingly.
