You can either divide it up and say that each family member holds 5.5 stocks, or you can pool all of our individual portfolios into one big pot and say we have a combination of 22.

Bruce,

I too thought that I was holding too many stocks (I have about 14). However, using your accounting methods, and counting my girlfriend, her kids, the bird, and the plants that I've managed to keep alive, it seems that I am only holding 2!

BB,

1. No NTAP? Whassa matta, you don't find DS convincing?
2. Is the list in order of holding size?
3. "Let a hundred flowers bloom" is just a metaphor, taken from the Chinese government's liberal response to protests back in the late 70s. 22 is close enough for current purposes.
4. You forgot to mention all that money your family saved on the new van... <ggg>

PS Under the BBAAP (Bruce Brown Accepted Accounting Principles), if you include the cats, tekgirl and I have only 1 stock each... :0)
