Congrats to all JDSU shareholders. Just listened to the conference call. This company is awesome!
I was listening for any negative comments---NONE EMERGED!
They tell it like it is---very bullish!!!

Even the Dell selloff is a great thing for the market as a whole. Sell on the rumor, buy on the news is what i would expect on Dell. Expecting the market to head north after the first half hour or so of trading. Even planning to finally pick up Dell shares myself---looking forward to it.

Very strong statement about ETEK regarding regulatory issues, but not too surprising. This is the pitch JDSU is making to the FTC. Still significant risk, IMO.

Re: ETEK -- can someone help me out here? As I understand the proposed buy-out, every share of ETEK will be worth 1.1 shares of JDSU. So why isn't ETEK trading at least at parity with JDSU, if not higher? Off hand it looks like you could buy JDSU today at a 20% discount by buying ETEK instead. What's wrong with my math?
Thanks.
