It all keeps coming back to MSFT. Despite chip shortages, DRAM prices etc., they all have to have an operating system...maybe the markets will stop trying to be so cute and just go with the tried and true winner...Billy Gates!

Hope you are right. Just added a little to my core Intel holding at 95 1/4 in after hours trading.

Me, too. I bought 10 Feb 100 Calls earlier in the day at 4-1/2, meant as a day trade. Yikes! I did it twice profitably over the previous two days but today wipes those profits out if we don't rebound. I have too much tied up in Intel right now to buy more.

I was clicking on after market quotes right as the news came out and Intel dropped two points between clicks...

That's a gutsy move - considering the DELL warning on top of the Gateway fiasco.

But that's how fortunes are made.
