Joey Bagodonuts is about to receive a visit from REAL MAN... and i think he plans on staying a while -g-......

Perplexed, but Hopeful
"I like the way the bonds and banks acted, but it's a real weird market," said Sam Ginzburg, managing director of equity trading at Gruntal. "It's tough to pick a trend. Everyday there's something else to do. It's confusing."

Despite the absence of a discernible day-to-day trend, Ginzburg expects a rally to emerge in the coming days.

"I can't give you any specific reason and don't know when everything gets into synch, but I think we try to bounce back," he said. "I would imagine the techs will probably turn around. They suckered 'em in but I think they'll turn 'em around."

However, after the close of trading (and the interview with Ginzburg), Dell (DELL:Nasdaq - news) warned that its fourth-quarter earnings would not meet expectations, raising doubts about tomorrow's session. Dell shares were recently halted.
