I really hope more people see the ISP "rebate" for what it really is: a trap. People who really want to save money should forego that $400 "rebate" and instead just go with a free ISP like NetZero. And people who want something more than NetZero would not want to lock themselves into a single ISP for three years anyway.

I agree. Plus, it's put a floor on PC prices of $400 so that it's "Free" after the IPS rebate.
