I think we have another Tyco situation at this point. The stock has been utterly trashed for no good reason, and will now be a day-trading stock for quite a while. With the associated irrational volatility. (I mean even more so... take a look at the Tyco chart since October).

On the positive side, I think that the Bear Sterns shockwave today was probably violent enough to catalyze formation of a bottom. On the Yahoo board I see utter gloom, "sell at any cost", and sincere predictions of much lower prices. There is little rational consideration of fundamental value tonight. This is all very similar to other stock bottoms I have seen in the past year or two.
