Mike,

I've never understood the generality that Gorillas don't fall as hard as other stocks or that they rise faster on the rebound.

I have thought about posting this same thought many times. I'm glad to see someone else feels the same way.

The problem I have with this argument is its relationship to the argument that the masses always undervalue gorillas because of a lack of understanding of the gorillas' true power. Are we to believe that the market suddenly has an epiphany about the gorillas when there is a correction (or a rebound)?

<<Rule #10>>

Ignore most of the news you hear or read. It has nothing to do with the gorilla game.

Off Topic/introduction:
Uncle Frank, Mike, Stan, round table folks, thread regulars and irregulars <g>:

Very glad to join your community, hope I can contribute to the collective knowledge of the group.

Stan's insistence that I better prepare for my family's future lead me to the GG (and, earlier, other investment books) and this investment community. I've been following the discussions prospectively since the fall and have benefited from them-- educationally and, until very recently, financially <gg>. Have read many of the earlier posts, but not all, and will try to find the gems hidden there so as not to take up thread space, and your time, discussing topics a second or third time. (I've read #833 many times...brilliant, I agree).

Stan and I go back more than a decade. First, as "his" fellow, in training, and now as a friend.

On topic:
Okay. Let's see... I'll take Ortel for project hunt.

Thanks Mike and Stan, for the welcome.

Tony
