Lemmie ask you guys this....
It appears that IBM and NEC have pulled out of the retail store markets. Packard Bell is history. This pretty much leaves HP, Compaq and E-machines. Seems to me that HP and Compaq can operate as some kind of duopoly (with e-machines on the real low end). Doesn't this give Compaq a chance to actually raise prices on retail PCs and help the bottom line?
