Except for Yahoo, most of these banks are doing parallel trials with Transpoint. Yes, you could argue that transpoint is not neutral as its owned by MSFT in part. That way, MSFT has passive stake in AT&T also. With DOJ and antitrust behind their back, MSFT has learned to lay low. Besides, it is not just their windows monopoly which is making them successful, in many cases they do indeed have a better product/technology. Also, they can also spin off transpoint just like they did with expedia. Bottomline, if Pete Kight is another Steve Case or not...only time will time. I can tell you this, early signs are not good!!
