Re: "Seems like you have some crow to eat up Elmer, and some other places to kiss."

Now Comrade, no need to get rude. I've eaten my share in my lifetime, and no doubt will again at some point. I admit my mistakes and that makes me unique on this forum. You still think fixed means still broken, Stevie Blunder still thinks Intel had yield and manufacturing problems despite record shipments and Kash the Camel Jockey still thinks I'm a liar for saying Intel will match K7 in integer performance. Only fools are afraid to admit their mistakes and I just named 3 of them.

Bill, Dell must have some kind of morons(rich ones mind you) running that show to get so badly blindsided. Do they have no people with smarts there? or did they gulp the Intel party line.

Yes (the later).

Also, we all keep overlooking what is probably the biggest fiasco here...the whole i820 rambust commitment....

I haven't checked out Dell's page lately...do they have any sdram cumine boxes?

On another note, here's Sharky's prices for the week:

sharkyextreme.com

We're finally seeing some movement on the k6-2 prices, probably to make way for the k6-2+. Also, k6-iii prices went up, probably in anticipation of the discontinuation of this line.
