Is your advise then to stand aside and not short stuff like CYOE for a while?

Bill,

People have bought REFR for the FUTURE earnings. That is why the stock is moving and why Lawrence Oakley of The Conservative Speculator ranked it his #1 pick for 2000.

We have gone back and forth about the fundamentals. All has been explained in great detail as to why so many of us are very happy with our investment and very excited about the future.

The recent rise is really "catch-up" not "run-up." We had a licensee, Hankuk, announce in 1997 their plans for commercialization of several SPD products and it is clear from their web site that these products are forthcoming. It will mean a lot of revenue to a company with no debt and a low burn rate. Also other licensees are commercializing and we could also hear product announcements in eye wear.

The recent rise is not such a mystery after all.

ND

I can't attribute the rise in junk like GUMM and REFR to factors like short-covering (the short interest really hasn't been all that high), and the volume is much higher than the usual gaggle of punters could generate.

Don't consider for a moment that it might be that you don't know anything about the companies. You have remained blissfully ignorant about these and other companies you arbitrarily deem junk as if by decree you could make it so.

Ignorance is never an excuse for bad form and you have both maladies in spades. It is of no consequence that you continue to slander companies as you are a spent bullet.

GUMM is going to continue to give you a thrashing until you wise up and frankly I doubt anyone cares what it costs you. This stock will bury you if you insist.

Opened my first short position in VLNC today. For once in my life I think I just might have gotten the timing right.
