Cirrus, I was starting to miss you on the AMD thread. I guess I should read this thread more often. ;)

I know you are being sarcastic here, but I'll respond as if not:

The AMD thread has many good technical posters, no doubt about it, but

1. I can't afford the time for it, my loss I guess.

2. Too easy to get into multi-confrontational sub-threads, which, to me, don't solve anything the vast majority of the time. They are you-know-what-kind-of-contests.

So I lurk.

While I'm at it, talk about AMD for a sec. It seems to me that no matter what AMD does, short of put in several solid, profitable quarters, maybe, the street doesn't trust them as a long term investment. Other semi stocks, such as TXN, LSI, MOT, NSM and semi equip stocks like, all of them, can have one or several losing quarters, but, as soon as they get healthy again, they take off big time. That's why I don't invest in AMD. They are just not "trusted" by smart money, whoever that is.
