dav...re:"why 30% growth can't sustain $60-$70 stock price"

dell with higher growth last year couldn't sustain a $45 price...it's going to take a major change in the minds of dell management to reinvent the company to that which is perceived visionary by the street...

what is that that kemble says...? "it takes a lot of pain..." guess he didn't expect pain of the self inflicted variety....cpq share price nipping on dell as i stated earlier in the week.....

Dav, IMO, Dell will drop into the low 30's. This will be a reaction to the pre-announcement. The stock will probably settle into a trading range of 35 to 40 and sit there until Dell demonstrates to the Analysts that they have regained control of the business. Or, the stock may trade in a range lower than I stated above. In any event, IMO, one can consider a investment in Dell to be "dead money" for some time to come.

Who would pay 60 or 70 dollars for Dell's stock at a time like this? IMO, no one would. Dell has stumbled. Dell guided the street to a growth for this year of around 30%!!! What happened to the 40%? Things are going from bad to worse.
